Vivo, a prominent Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has unveiled its latest 5G phone, the Vivo T2 Pro 5G, in the Indian market.
Running on the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset and boasting an AMOLED display, here are the main highlights of the Vivo T2 Pro 5G.
Price
The Vivo T2 Pro 5G is available in two versions. The base variant, which offers 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, is priced at Rs. 23,999. Alternatively, the top-tier variant, equipped with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, is priced at Rs. 24,999. Furthermore, customers can enjoy an immediate discount of Rs. 2,000 for transactions made using ICICI and Axis bank cards, coupled with an extra exchange bonus of up to Rs. 1,000. Prospective buyers can purchase it through the official website of the company and Flipkart, with sales commencing from September 29.
Display
The Vivo T2 Pro 5G showcases a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It offers a pixel density of 388 ppi and reaches a peak brightness of 1300 nits. This smartphone presents a curved AMOLED display and positions the selfie camera at the center within a notch.
Battery
Driving the Vivo T2 Pro 5G is a 4,600mAh battery, complemented by Vivo’s 66W fast charging technology. The company asserts that users can achieve a 50 percent charge from a fully drained battery in just 22 minutes. Additionally, Vivo emphasizes that this battery can deliver up to 56.85 hours of music playback on a single charge.
Performance
Internally, the Vivo T2 Pro 5G operates on a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, accompanied by 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. According to a report by NDTV, the device has surpassed 7,20,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform, earning the title of the fastest smartphone in the under-Rs. 25,000 price category. Gaming enthusiasts will also welcome the incorporation of a 3000mm square vapor chamber liquid cooling system, maintaining optimal temperatures during intense gaming sessions.
Camera
The Vivo T2 Pro 5G features a dual-camera setup, comprising a 64MP sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.79 lens, along with a 2MP bokeh camera. For selfies, it offers a 16MP front camera with an f/2.45 aperture. This camera setup supports various modes, including night mode, panorama, time-lapse video, dual view, portrait, and slow motion.
