The new Vivo smartphone series, which is slated to launch on August 28, seems to be refreshing its camera-focused V-smartphone series Vivo V29e in this launch.
Vivo V29e Launch & Design
Considering the nearing launch, its price and specifications have been leaked recently.
Apart from this, the smartphone maker has also revealed some of its design and key specifications to build the hype around the smartphone.
To start with this, the Vivo V29e boasts a slim design with a curved display, which appears to be a common design language among phones in the sub-Rs 30K segment.
For instance, Realme introduced Realme 11 Pro+ 5G with a similar slim design and curved display at the start of this year.
Similarly, weeks ago, Motorola introduced a Motorola Edge 40 in the same segment.
Interestingly, all these brands bring some tweaks to make their phones unique.
Vivo V29e Key Specifications & Pricing
In the case of Vivo, it is using a color-changing technology for the back panel, though it is only available for the red variant.
The same technology is used in the Vivo V25.
There are two large cutouts on the back for dual rear cameras, secondly.
Similerly, the front also has a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera.
When it comes to dimensions, the Vivo V29e measures 7.57mm in thickness this way making it relatively thicker than the Edge 40’s 7.49mm body.
The phone features a 6.73-inch display, a 4,600mAh battery, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus SoC with 8GB of RAM, as per an older leak.
The phone may be supported by at least 33W charging.
Further, the phone will be sporting a 64-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) for stable videos and crisper images, Vivo said.
Its front includes a 50-megapixel selfie camera and claims that the selfie camera supports “Eye Auto Focus” for better and more reliable focus.
Besides this, the smartphone maker is boasting about its night portrait abilities, which have been the focus of the last few Vivo V-series phones.
“With 64 megapixels and OIS, you can illuminate dim environments and capture stable, brighter night portraits with unmatched clarity and detail,” as mentioned on its website.
Coming to prices, the Vivo V29e might be priced at Rs 25,000 in India, as per a leak.
So far, it is unclear if there is going to be more than one storage configuration.
All the details will be clear very soon, considering the mearing launch.
So let’s keep an eye on this space, stay tuned.
